It's exciting how many areas there are to master if you want to achieve true "superhuman strength". You can train in body weight exercises to weights to kettlebells, to dance to aerobics, to mental focus, to nutrition, to literally thousands of martial arts hard and soft…

We can lift up our being to higher levels via self-hypnosis, relaxation techniques, sleep learning, mental focus methods, visualization systems, to New Age thought and of course, the biggest of all – religion.

Each one of the above splits into thousands of subcategories, leaving your head spinning in where to even start.

And amazingly, many never really attempt to master more than one or two of these in spite of ALL the choices. Maybe the list is too daunting - maybe it never crosses their mind that small steps made the Great Pyramids and the Great Wall of China.

That one or two books, a class, every once in a while is just not going to get you too far.

Maybe some will think I’m a bit fanatical, but it’s truly exciting to me to wake up each day and have in front of me, hundreds of thousands of physical and mental ways to improve yourself.

It’s probably also one of the biggest reasons why I’m like a big kid – excited with wide-eyed enthusiasm as I work on how many arrows I can put in my quiver in one day.

That’s why even when I’m traveling, driving, coaching, rehearsing, painting, sculpting, performing on stage, I’m always thinking how I can move better, sound better, communicate better, have keener mental focus and emotional excitement and sincerity to whatever I’m doing.

Everyone has the same opportunities and time in a day when they’re body has to just sit in a traffic light, stand in a bank line, waiting for someone to call them back, etc. It YOU that chooses how to master those times by doing extraordinary things that will bring you super strength – just pick one of the categories.

The Road to Becoming Super Human

For me, each day contains almost endless opportunities for us to expand and develop our being both physcially and mentally. Taking action and paying attention to the details of how we execute our daily activities are quite often the very things that can bring us closer to possessing what people call super human qualities fast.

What really are super human qualities? I prefer not to think of super human qualities in terms of leaping over tall buildings or lifting cruise ships clean out of the water. To me, someone who is accessing their super human qualities are those who do what other humans would rarely ever think about or do - and making the attempts to do them on a daily basis.

If you hold the belief that your actions are dictated by how you think, then it stands to reason that the fastest way to mastery in strength and speed - or anything for that matter, comes from a daily attention to details in the precision of how your thought directly translates into physical action.

Whether we like it or not, when our physical actions are weak and we're not "in our game" mentally; when our shots are completely off course, those are the result of incongruency in the way the body is responding to the mind's commands. It simply means you aren't connected at those moments properly.

In his incredible book Psycho-Cybernetics, Dr. Maxwell Maltz, described the human brain and nervous system as a "perfect goal-striving servo-mechanism." Like the self-guided missile, the goal-striving mechanism of your brain will only work in your favor if you've specified a target.

These are great thoughts and they make sense to most of us with goal setting when we can clearly see a point A to B. But, most people never make the conscious choice to perfect their daily actions in the way they get up out of a chair, the way they move up stairs, the way they spin to open a door for a lady, the way they pick up a wine glass without disturbing the bouquet, the way they pick up a painbrush to paint, the way we say precisely what we mean and cultivate our voice to project and inspire, etc. etc...

Yes, our every day actions can be honed in small increments each day to give us better precision in how we move and think. When you walk up stairs and your knees don't warble but you're paying close attention to their precision and your upper body glides in an unwavering straight line without the normal plod, plod of the feet and hips - you're on to something great and perfecting your super human potential.

It's attention to these details of looking inward into the way you move and think in your daily activities, that'll make you excell with super human qualities when your playing our tennis, golf, baseball, football, etc. games - when you're in the game and it really counts.

We don't have to reserve the practice of our physical actions just when we're in the field or gym. Daily practice comes from the moment we get up and begin moving. It doesn't matter what it is, just take a simple action and try perfecting it each day with the idea that no other humans you know would be "crazy" enough to even think about it - much less do it.

Paying attention to your daily actions and trying to make your actions precise and flowing from one to the other will help you in your speach, your movement, and your way of thinking. This is the road to becoming super human - it doesn't come from just having the "right genes", "talent", or good teachers.

Super human qualities are created one small increment at a time and those can be made in a myriad of ways every single day. The small things count.
