If we’re truly to master the mind body connection, then we must remember that it's our minds that have infinite power over our bodies - not the other way around. Whether it's to gain more strength and speed or success in life, it's paramount for us to find ways to secure complete mastery over what we are able to imagine and then translate it directly to our actions.
For it's when we train ourselves to see with complete clarity and mental focus that we are able to propel ourselves forward way beyond the norm - for clarity of vision is what makes the difference between the winners and the also-rans.
So it goes that when it comes to working out, I find that the more clarity you have in putting your mind into your muscles, the stronger and faster you can become in a shorter amount of time. In CoreForce Energy, it's the clarity of mental imagery combined with congruency of movement and physiology that makes dramatic improvements in powerful impulses that generate great increases in strength and speed.
You hear personal trainers to acting coaches to martial artists expounding on the virtues and importance of a mind/body connection. But, it's funny how you rarely hear of any of them giving you something powerful enough so that you can effortlessly anchor your imagery with the precision that is necessary to manifest a noticeable difference in your strength or how you move.
I've found through the years as a coach that if you give someone a precise picture instead of paying lip service to "getting into the muscle" they can achieve astounding successes in a short amount of time.
It’s hard not to people watch at the gym and I often wonder how they’re “getting into their muscles” or engaging that mind/body connection. So often I see a disconnect.
Of course it’s great to tell your muscles to stretch, to lift more, while visualizing what you want them to eventually look like. If most would even do that, they’d be doing far above what the average person does. But, at best, even these things are so vague.
Everyone seems to want greater strength. But, I find that one of the biggest obstacles to achieving it is that a lot of people simply don’t have precise mental anchors, as I call them, that fully engage their minds on a deep and vivid enough level to activate the powerful electrical impulses that are necessary to stimulate extreme muscular engagement.
And then, even if they doe have some of that necessary clarity, they often lack precise physical tools that help them make certain their bodies are congruent with that vision throughout the myriad of their changing movements. For without congruency of body movement to your mental commands, the drainage of power is exponential.
I believe its the things you see; you hear; and feel before and throughout your execution of movement that will either give you optimal results or mediocre outcomes.
But even with this, precise physical tools are necessary to amplify your clarity of vision and to make certain you stay focused and congruent with these visceral amplifiers at all times.
