The entire first season of the television hit series, "Heroes", was devoted to the interaction between all the characters who are becoming gradually aware of their unique superhero strengths and abilities and how they're going to stop the incredible exploding man from destroying an entire city.

If you haven’t seen it, it’s a really fascinating premise that a man alone, without any explosive devices whatsoever, could activate every cell in his body to ignite a nuclear reaction.

This man's hands would begin glowing and emitting blinding light and searing heat just by his thoughts alone. Once activated, this unthinkable destructive power would radically spread throughout his body until it burst in one gigantic cataclysm.

Needless to say, any kind of explosion that brings harm to to life is repugnant. But what if we turned this idea completely around – on its head?

What if, just like in the TV series, our thoughts could generate enough power inside us that our body would begin glowing and eminating such tremendous heat that it would burst and engulf an entire city? Not with destructive powers, of course, but with infectious enthusiasm, unstoppable joy, passion, love, and the tremendous raw power for good that we are really capable of generating?

What if these things could radiate from our entire being so powerfully that they could deeply inspire all around us in a gigantic wave and mushroom cloud of explosive power, light, and energy?

What if this all wasn’t just in a short one-time blast, but could last throughout an entire day, a week, or a month with such a powerful force that its light alone would radiate through walls and light up those all around you?

This, of course, is where everything starts - with our minds.
And isn't it true that strength and power actually come from the same source?

Although we might not be able to glow and explode from our own energy in such magnitude as in “Heroes”, we really have unheard of powers inside us waiting to be discovered - of all kinds, shapes, and sizes. Powers so vast that if we turned our imagination on with passion and emotion that they would glow and radiate energy through physical matter, time, and space.

It's our minds that have dominion over our bodies and yet it’s that same power that we often let idle at such very low levels.

What if we run with the idea this week that our thoughts can actually make us glow and eminate pure power - not in destructive powers of course – but with the kind that transforms us making us glow with radiant heat that inspires all those around us?
