Attempting the Impossible Will Make You Stronger

I grew up with the idea that every day, you should attempt to do something you think you can't do; something that seems perhaps impossible; something that you know you'll fail in - at least in the first few times. By failing and trying every day to do something new, you find that you get better at circumventing those walls that hold you back. You learn to approach those walls with better tools and with tools that have been honed by the experiences of your failures.

By making this a common occurrence by getting used to the idea that you might fail the first time – and every day - it'll get easier and less threatening. By doing just this alone, you will be learning skills that'll make you exceptional and stronger and more confident.

Of course, for a lot of people, failing is not good for their self-esteem because to them, failure means sliding backward, losing ground. But, if you keep this idea that you try something new every day that seems impossible, your self-esteem gets used to the idea through repetition that successes will eventually come. Along with that you'll benefit from the joy of knowing you accomplished something that you thought you couldn't do. Your self-confidence will begin to soar.

Now multiply this by trying seven new things each day for a week and feeling the joy of learning seven new skills. They don't have to be big things either. Just try to do something different if it isn't a skill. Do something you wouldn't normally do. Go off the well-beaten track. Just making the attempt is half the battle and is the first step. It might mean picking a book off your shelf that you haven't read waiting for that rainy day. Yes, that book that you bought months ago with good intensions of reading.

Doing something different will inspire your brain. And where your brain is inspired, you body will respond in kind and move and feel differently almost on its own. By inspiring brain and body together by doing something new and challenging, they will find new ways to accomplish what seemed to be impossible.

Don't be afraid to make mistakes. Don't be afraid to take the time to do something different. Don't be afraid that you won't become great at it. Don't be afraid of attempting something that might injure your ego. You'll get over it if you make it an everyday routine. Your ego will let go of its insistence to not lose face if it knows that "for the next half-hour, you can fail all you like".

By doing something different every day eventually you'll find that not only has the ego let go of it's tight grip to not lose face, but that all the things you attempted to try have a lot more in common than you ever thought. That's why things get easier when your brain and body find similarities and build resources to think and move differently. What seemed impossible is finally achieved by applying something learned by failing at something else completely unrelated.

Growing up like this gave me the opportunity to fail many times, to not be worried that I wasn't learning anything because I was always attempting something new.

With so many exciting things to discover in art, in music, in sports, in adventures, in books, etc., what are you waiting for? This is your life. Time ticking. Try something new, different, and be ready and willing to fail today - because tomorrow, what you've learned from today's failure makes you bolder and gives you better tools to attempt the breach of the next castle wall.

Expand your mind and expand your physical capabilities now by attempting something you've been wanting to do and get those people out of your brain that said you can't do it. Let go of self-limiting beliefs just for 10 minutes, 15 minutes, and maybe even stretch it to a half-hour or more each day to allow yourself to find hidden talents and explore your full potential that is waiting for you to let it out unbridled.

New worlds await you. New experiences are right around the next bend. But you may have to open your mouth and speak to a stranger. If you’re shy, that is your castle wall today to breach. You must allow yourself to be "bad" at something and be willing to be "bad" at that something different every day. Just doing that alone gives you a wonderful ability to let go and allow our real gifts to come forth instead of being held back by the ego who hates to look like its failing.

I will bet that if you listen to this and do these things, you'll find yourself doing "impossible" things you never dreamed of - and, on a regular basis.

This is why people call me a Renaissance Man today - simply because I did what I've just said every day. In reality, we all have buried talents and abilities waiting for us to discover. Being a Renaissance Man or Woman is no more than someone who does a lot of things. Well, you don't get good at a lot of things until you're ready to fail at a lot of things and ready to do it every day - and with something completely different no matter how small or big.

This is how the ideas for CoreForce Energy came about and is why it works so powerfully for so many people - because it utilizes resources and tools gleaned from many experiences that different people can immediately identify with. It's no mistake that CoreForce Energy encourages a strong bond between mind and body - because without congruency of thought and action, you have weakness and mediocre performance.

Let your brain be inspired today with curiosity and willingness to breach new walls. You'll find that inspiration will bleed into your muscles, your speech, your enthusiasm, your confidence, and your newfound strength.
